Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

The RRS2 rear end still has it off my shopping list which is a shame because I wouldn't mind an RRS again as a daily driver. This D5 is just hideous at the back. What is JLR doing?? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

With RRS2 you have 2 clear choices BKHK: a) Get an SVR, much nicer looking at the back; b) Get a lesser RRS2 and get used to the rear end. I went for option b due to budget limitations Laughing Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I agee Buckster! and indeed the RRSII rear is also ugly.less mascluline then the RRS!. Only the Voque design keeps on going in the right -classic LR direction.
The red disco's 5 rear looks like a Baboon. Rolling with laughter

Well, new defender still has the look of the old defender, you can see its heritage in the design.
Built on the same platform as L494/405

Just not as luxurious inside, more urban chic, but it's been a couple of years since I saw it in the flesh Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

New disco 5 is just plain ugly. At the beginning the offset rear number plate was fine on the original side opening type rear door with the possibility of a rear mounted spare wheel but not on a lifting tail. Pure stupidity. Also the car looks narrow ...like its been squashed in on each side. Ugly ugly ugly.

Agreed. Saw one on the motorway the other day, looked horrendous. A backward step from the 4.

Rear end of the Velar isn't much better, but at least the humongous number plate cut out is centered!

I'm quite liking the rear of the Velar. I thought I would never say it and I have lambasted it many times but my ownership and new found appreciation of my "new" RRS 1 is making me feel like an RRS 2 may not be beyond possibility but it would have to be a V8 SC or an SVR. Now, a V8 Velar would be cool. Cool Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Also followed one home tonight, looked bloody awful. I think it would look better with bigger lights as it would reduce all that bland bodywork. Anything would be an improvement ! Feel for the disco boys, after the D4 they've got nowhere to go apart from an RRS.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

The rear is awful and I could never purchase a car with a ugly arse like that, doesn't help with number plate off set, sorry looks drawn by a child, that must be changed within a year or watch sales fall. Bloody awful. Evil or Very Mad Big Cry Censored John

D5's only saving grace is the traditional Disco practicality and improved drive and handling compared to D4. Hardly anyone is objective enough to choose a car based purely on those attributes. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Perhaps what ever sat on the roof of the Ewok and squashed it also lent against the side of the Disco. Saw my first one here in NZ the other day, man that is one Ugly back end.

Cheers
