I can't see any pictures on the thread, as far as I know the ARB would not affect how the car sits when parked up, in respect of the leak have you checked the reservoir behind drivers headlight to see if fluid has dropped. Nanocom Evo |

Ok, is that expensive? Or is it just the rubber boot? Where is all the oil coming from?!

The CV joint is part of the drive shaft (this transfers power to the wheel), the joint is full of a thick grease that's held in by the rubber boot. Because your boot is split and the shaft spins it has thrown grease in a circle round the drive shaft. So while it looks like oil it's not.

THanks very much for this. I was thinking I'd got a horrendous bill coming up with the MOT Being on 6th May! May keep the car now instead of quickly disposing of it.
