I don't have a service book to be stamped. Dealer says it's all on their systems

Hi,
I would not get it serviced but adjust the price a bit,
that way however buys your car can then decide where they want to get it done and what they want done
I would much rather get a car serviced myself then I know what has been done, a service could just have been an oil and filter change Rolling Eyes

Its like tyres rather buy a car with worn out tyres so I can see how they have worn and put on the type of tyre that suits me, than a car with a set of new "cheap" tyres.

good luck with your sale either way.

Thumbs Up

I suspect that "Full LR service history" would be a plus in a private sale, even at 4 years old.

I would ask the Dealer for their 3+ special service price. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I recently had my 2013 Black Edition serviced at my local main dealer (Full 4 Year service but had only done 20K miles). Local independent quoted £395 all in but main dealer price matched so went with main dealer.

Stick with main dealer service. You will prob get bashed more on sale price if it needs doing, than getting it done. If it was me buying and I had to factor in a service, road tax on top and possibly anything found needed doing in the service I wouldn't buy or hedge my bets with a low offer. I would put it up for sensible money with 12months MoT and fully serviced ready to go. Thumbs Up Gone:
