Connector found, should it be loose?

Hi there everyone!

Looking for some help, was washing the car and noticed this connector hanging down near the passenger side rear exhaust. (Photo taken through wheel arch).

Its a my10 RRS 3.6 TDV8.

Wondered if anyone could shed light on what this connector is, and if it should be just hanging there? Ive had no faults coming up on the dash recently, although a month back did have a message about a suspension fault, that seems to have cleared itself.

Many thanks in advance.

Luke

That has a blank in it by the looks so should be for a part not fitted to your car so see if you can find the hole in the chassis that the black plug came from and reattach it Thumbs Up

I think it's part of the tyre pressure monitoring system. Presumably you don't have TPMS which is why the connector is blanked. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
