Too right... mind you, pre-RRS days we did go on holiday in the FL once. It was a squeeze to say the least.

This is a pic of ours loaded with booze we bought in France, we still had to fit 2 weeks of luggage in on top of all that. No idea how we did it, the Freelander struggled going uphills on the way back Laughing. We called at the LRO show, and decided it was probably best not to go on the off road course Very Happy .

Now you tell us U had that at the LRO show!!! I'd have helped you lighten the load so that the rear suspension could have coped. Our booze run supplies have run out so all that vino brings back the cravings!

I'm surprised you didn't notice the Freelander in the car park, the front was pointing up to the sky so much that no one could miss it Very Happy 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

I wish I could turn to boose but i'm supposed to be on the wagon. Mind you, D3 would be great for a booze run, just gotta convince the missus. I keep telling her pomerol is good for her, look the French say so!

OK I'm back - Ikea is probably the hell-holes of all hell-holes! Everyone there speaks a different language, not sure what it is but it isn't English! I didn't have the meatballs went for the chefs special instead- one thing for sure it wasn't special! Probably the most tasteless roast sirloin I've ever had, and the veggies were swimming in water! Bought a set of drawers for the baby, loads of napkins, a light and numerous coat hangers! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

....and what was wrong with the meatballs, might I ask? It's the only safe thing to have at Ikea. Why is it that when you go to Ikea, whatever you went in to buy, you always come out with some other useless crap?

"Right, Mrs VA, we've got the drawers we came for.... now, those coathangers look mighty fine!" Laughing
