[For Sale] RRS TDV8 HSE 2008
Hi all,
I am putting up for sale my Range Rover Sport HSE. It is a 2008 model (08 plate) with the 3.6 V8 Diesel engine in Stornoway Grey.
It has served the family well and continues to do so having being extremely well maintained but we are now down sizing and the new car has already been delivered so looking to pass the RRS on to another home.
I acquired the car 6 years ago in 2011 from this very forum, when it had 2 previous owners. The owner I bought it from had purchased it Approved Used from Land Rover just a few months before. Unfortunately his wife did not get on with it so I bought it with the benefit of the LR warranty. The car has remained under warranty since then and still has some warranty left until mid-April.
It is the usual HSE spec with full black leather interior, front and rear heated seats, Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Harmon Kardon speakers, Adaptive Cruise Control, climate control, 20" LR alloys, Brembo brakes, front/rear parking sensors, folding mirrors, quickclear windscreen etc etc.
In addition to the HSE spec, it has side steps, colour coded wing mirrors, RLD spare wheel protector and removable tow bar.
Although I don't own a caravan or trailer and hence never towed anything, the tow bar has been useful for mounting a tow bar attached cycle carrier (not included in sale).
It has had no expense spared and even underwent a full suspension refresh at a cost of nearly £3k two years ago at 75k miles (the car is now at 85k miles). This is an area that most RRS will suffer from as lugging around 3 tonnes has its toll on the rubber and suspension components. In addition, it has also had a new alternator, wheel bearings and air con compressor this month as well as a full service and MOT.
The above is just some of the recent work to ensure the car is fully maintained and comes with lots of paperwork to back up its history and work done including every MOT since it was three years old and servicing invoices.
The car has been our every day car so does suffer from the usual daily scars of use with some kerbing to the alloys and a couple of car park dings.
I contemplated getting the wheels refurbed and the dings done in exchange for which I would want a good price for the car given its history but thought that there may be buyers who would prefer to save that money and purchase the car at a lower price and decide later if they wanted to refurb the alloys etc.
The car is essentially ready to go having had a service in the last couple of weeks and a new 12 month MOT.
I would like £12,500 for this lovely RRS. The car can be viewed in North London, within quick and easy reach of J1/2 of the M1 or J24 of the M25.
I think I have priced it competitively given the mechanical condition, recent work done on the car, history and condition of the alloys etc.
I have posted a few pics below.

Seems like a fair price for a good clean car of its age.
Good luck with the sale.

That seems like a very good price, if this had been up for sale when I bought mine, I'd have come for a look.
