When will MY18 cars be delivered?

I'm just about to place an order for a new HSE Dynamic and I'm being quoted June delivery. Just wondering if its worthwile hanging on the my 14 plate HSE for a few months longer and waiting for a MY18 model. Anyone know when MY18 cars are due to start deliveries and what changes are likely to be made?

Am I likely to get a better deal on a MY17 June delivery car?

New MY builds usually start after the August factory shutdown, so well after that.

And as for discounts, who knows? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Ive been advised that MY18 should be available to order in June/July with delivery for November at the earliest. I have decided to wait as I think the upgrades will be worth it.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Firenze Red

To my mind this ids nuts!

1. Nobody knows the spec. of a MY18 car. Everyone says "upgrades" however, there are often "downgrades as well (the standard sound system between MY15 and MY16 on HSE models was DOWNGRADED, and I am sure there are more examples). So at best its a gamble.

2. As each month goes by your current RRS is depreciating by +/- £1,500 per month.

If you need/want a new car go out and buy it, if you don't, then do the other thing.

All this paranoia and speculation about what may or may not be is just a pointless exercise.

I've just ordered an HSE for May build. My reasoning was that I want a car now not in 6 months, any upgraded model is almost certain to be more expensive and I got a really good deal. The upgrade can come for me when I next change in a couple of years.
Any clues as to the 'big changes'?
Tim

Major cosmetic changes both internally and externally, new bumpers, new front and rear light designs, new interior layout etc. Certainly enough to differentiate between the facelift and older models. How do I know - can't say but wait and watch Cool

I have heard similar RRSman, in fact my dealer advised me to wait if I wasn't in a hurry to change. I am tempted by the Velar but can't now get into a car until 2018 and that may be too far away, especially as the extra space of the RRS will be useful to me.
