its not a software update you have to code the key to the car make sure they recode your key as well otherwise you will only have 1 key again that does sound a lot for a key |

I had the same problem but I found a local automotive locksmith who cut a new blank blade and then "cloned" the electronics of the new key to my old one. It looks like it is one of those ebay ones but all 3 buttons work fine, unlock, lock and tailgate unlock.

You might have it, just look in the "settings" on the dashboard and scroll through the options. you might see "Lazy entry" and then you can toggle it on or off. Then it's just a question of setting up each key with the seat and mirror position. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Best bet, save your money and buy an IIDTool, then program your own key
