From those pics I now know why the D pillar looks odd - the black of the pillar needs to be raised a bit at the front end to get rid of the unsightly little curve right at the top of the rear quarter window, if the designers had taken the line from the top of the window line aft to where it ends at the moment I think removing that little step would improve the appearance of the D pillar. Maybe somebody good with Photoshop might like to prove me wrong 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

From the rear it reminds me of the F-Pace - it is built on the F-pace platform

That sounds ever so slightly wrong... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I'm with you Tim. The rear corner of the roof and glasshouse just jars. A black roof would solve it but a Range Rover should have the "floating roof" look. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

You're exactly right. However, a raised line wouldn't then meet the bottom of the aerofoil. The only answer to me would be to specify a black roof. Even then, I still don't like the curved rear quarter window. |
