I never have/had a problem. But I use German quality (Oeps!): Zimmerman disks and ATE pads.(same as OEM BMW).

Hog, we are talking about brand new cars straight from the factory. If you start changing out components yourself you will invalidate the warranty on a £70,000+ car.

Yup we definitely have the same issues here, both Brembo and standard sets. I've had my pads replaced twice by the dealer and the second set has been much better but still squeaks here and there.

Some have resorted to using aftermarket ceramic pads which don't squeak or have as much brake dust which will likely be the route I do when it's time to replace. 2016 SCV8 Dynamic - Firenze Red/Pimento

It appears that JLR are churning out FFRR's, RRS, Evouqe and Disco Sport's with squeaky brakes...........this is simply not good enough!

Fitted EBC redstuff pads all round on mine recently, not because of a squeal, but to reduce brake dust - I would say 90% less dust and what there is easy to clean off. Plus the brakes work very well. Have had their dimpled/grooved discs on previous vehicles, also good, but noisier than OE. Not a noise you would notice in the cabin though. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
