Prospective RRS Owner - Looking for Help & Advice

Hi All,

Joined the forum as i am looking into purchasing a RRS sometime later on in the year.

Have a rough idea of what i want - love the autobiography - and got a rough budget of what i want to spend.

I know that there are many issues to look out for when purchasing so just looking for as much advice as possible before i take the plunge.

I also know there are a few different specs but looking to get some advice on what each one entails and bits of kit that are a must-have and stuff that is not worth getting.

Any information will be greatly received Smile

Looking forward to spending many hours trawling through all the great information that is on here!

Thanks in advance

Hi & welcome to the forum,,it all depends on your budget,,if possible buy one with LR warranty as these motors can be expensive when things go wrong.

I agree with Tyrefitter, get one with Land Rover Approved Warranty Thumbs Up , or keep £5k in the Bank just in case. Big Cry

As for the autobiography, down to choice, however I think the rear end is Censored In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

You don't allude to which engine or what age you are looking at.

Warranty Direct offer good warranty alternatives to Land Rover that include wear & tear cover. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

Don't get a low spec one, (S / SE) as they are difficult to sell, even when cheap. Get an HSE with the sat nav screen, and personally speaking buy either the TDV6 of the V8 petrol. I think the V8 diesel has way too many problems to be worth the risk, unless you are handy with the spanners. (Just my personal opinion obviously.) Thumbs Up

Im definitely looking at a diesel, was swaying towards the V6 but if the right V8 came up might be tempted.

Im hoping to get something about 07 reg but again depends on price, would go for an older one if it has been looked after properly
