I would thoroughly recommend Dunkeld, the only location in Scotland, but I am biased!! Long way for you to travel but the Dunkeld Hotel (ex-Dunkeld Hilton) is a fine location to stay in and the scenery in that area (on the Duke of Athol's estate) is spectacular.

Eastnoor done twice and the last time was with an Instructor called Swanny. Excellent for 1/2 day and they do have an option for full days as well as night drives. It was explained to me the LR have rented the grounds for years and years and a lot of testing and research is done at Eastnoor. Swanny was very good/patient and entertaining and made the day even better |

I did the one in Devon, and it was excellent, despite the car sat. nav. getting me lost on the way back! (Extended to full day, which makes a big difference). |

I've done Dunkeld many times although it has now moved from the grounds of the Hilton Resort to a new location just a little east of Dunkeld. It still operates on the really spectacular land of the Duke of Atholl. I have also done Solihull's factory LRE which although compact certain gives some great experiences, Eastnor which is the grandaddy of all the Experience Centres, Halewood LRE (it is tiny and not worth wasting a voucher on) and Luton Hoo. I would say, apart from Halewood, Luton Hoo was the least challenging, as a seasoned off-roader it was a little boring, but as it was a freebie and included a night in the Luton Hoo House hotel I didn't turn it down! I hope to experience a day out on the Exmoor drives with the Devon LRE this summer. Although I always enjoy Dunkeld I think Solihull and Eastnor LRE's take some beating. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Out of the 3 I've been to, Eastnor was easily the best. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Agree with the comments re: Luton; I went there a couple of weeks ago and was sorely underwhelmed... |

yep, Dunkeld for me, best of the two (very good) locations I've been to. Did Dunkeld in Evoque, RRS and FFRR - all excellent, even when one of the tyres let go on the RRS in the middle of the rocky sector and the instructor didn't prop the jack correctly so the car fell onto it's brake disc - back to the workshop for that one, bend disk, oops. If you choose to go to Eastnor and think that it's a long haul there and back in a day I can highly recommend the night before and after the experience at The Feathers Hotel in Ledbury, about 10 minutes drive for the Experience centre. I think it must be one of the oldest hotels in the UK, but the rooms in the old part of the building are some of the most modern I have stayed in outside of the posh hotels in Dubai. I never saw the rooms in the modern extension out the back but the rooms in the old bit are like something out of a Grand Designs showroom 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
