United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Phone won't remember Bluetooth connection

Hi all,

I have paired my phone to the Range but it doesn't remember this when I get back in the car, so have to manually select the Land Rover pairing each time I get in.

My supercharged didn't do this, does anyone know if there is a reason for this.

Connected by finding the land rover on my Bluetooth via phone and using passcode 2121

Unfortunately i think this is normal and you have to put up with it.
Fortunately, I think Bodsy on here does a mail order bluetooth upgrade for a very reasonable price that sorts out the problem you mention.
Try searching his posts.
From Bodsy;PhoneBook over Blutooth Update
This updates your standard factory Fit RRS Blutooth module to enable you to select your phonebook contacts from the screen of your radio display. It also fixes issues with iphone etc where you have to enter the 2121 code in each time you want to connect. I can do this one by post also and its very easy to change on a RRS. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Thanks scrumpy,

I feared this would be the case, I'm starting to really appreciate the now sold Sport SC, it had a lots of features that I didn't realise we're not standard until owning this TDV6 Sad

Indeed I do. Thumbs Up will also give you phonebook on the radio screen so you don't need to touch the phone at all. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
