What are the pockets on the fronts of the seats for?

Noticed the pockets on the front of the seats while i was driving the other day, what is the point of these?

Pockets ? Do you mean on the back of the seat facing the rear seats ?

I've always assumed it's just somewhere to have parking change or a parking permit or travel docs when touring so they're readily to hand. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

No, on the front of the front seat squab, there seems to be a pocket in the leather.

There is a pocket. I've got one on mine too. Never used it, to be honest. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I had a Sport, 2008 HSE, that had a full width pocket on the edge of the drivers seat. I think back in the olden days the Pocket was designed for tiny Nokia phones etc. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Haha! That's exactly what I use them for - spare P&G car phone for emergencies.
