Just had the Gtechniq Serum treatment, looks good tbh. Do I need to be careful cleaning it from now on & knock on the head the hand car washes?? The guy told me to make sure future washes are always pH Neutral?

Cantona, i have had the crystal serum black protection applied and my detailer said the same. In reality i have used both the hand car wash and 2 quick details and all seems good to me. 2019 Urban Urus - May Delivery. Gone to the dark side...

Thanks Oli, how long ago did you have it. Can't make my mind up if it's good advice or he just wants me to buy products from a site he's linked to! (Slims)

SVR Build Visit

I don't think so. My friends at SVO and JLR managed to work it so that my car was timed to go down the line one in front of the 6 millionth car and the press photographer was asked to include my car in some of the photographs. A one off, and another reason why my car is so special to me.

And why I get pee'd off when someone messes with it. Evil or Very Mad

You can do the tour, but photos I'm not sure.

Hey Phil,
I took delivery of my SVR April 30th this year and the dealership gave me the opportunity to go and see it on the production line.
I was quite amazed when they asked if I had my phone on me and allowed photos and allowed me and the wife to sign the chassis. The chap fitting the dashboard even asked if I would like to help but I declined.

Congratulations. What's your spec?

The colleague that I took with me to see my car being built has just taken delivery of his. Ligurian Black (with black wheels, ebony interior, black headlining, privacy glass -- very black). But lovely. Not seen the colour in the light and at my recommendation didn't let the dealership touch the paint so this is taken before the car has been cleaned. Can't wait to see the colour in the day light when clean - those blue flakes are huge:

Definitely do not let them polish the car before delivery. It is better to get it to a detailer to sort it properly. I have a good relationship with my dealership and they delivered the car to my detailer and picked it up prior to hand over. If it's possible do it that way.

Did you go for extra large washer bottle as I do find it very handy, something cheap to add as well Thumbs Up
Also I went for the Carbon Fibre engine cover, does make me smile when opening the bonnet and looks really really good Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I bet you can't wait. Surprised

I did order much more, just didn't list, as I didn't want to appear OTT Laughing Even ordered the CF engine cover too Rolling Eyes
Also ordered the larger bottle as well.....

On your advice, I have also spoken with the garage and they are going to arrange for a local detailer who deals with their more exclusive cars to have the SVR detailed before I receive it.

Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it.

AND

Yes I am very excited toooooooooooo Very Happy Very Happy
