2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Different tyre sizes

I need to replace my 2 front tyres. At the moment they are 275-40-R20
Can I fit 275-45-R20 and leave the rears for a month or so and then change the rears? Or will it not be happy running different sizes. Thanks. New alternator.
Gearbox flush.

No,,,,they all need to be same size,,if you mix them it will Kn@@@@r your drive train.

Cock... 55 profile on my current set and 50 on the spare, which I've run for 50 miles back from Cambridge last night. Got the puncture fixed, better swap over now.

Isn't the spare a different size anyway???
When I first got my sport the spare was 19 INCH. New alternator.

Yes but the rolling circumference of the 19 would have been same as the 20.

Hi mate.

You are quite correct in thinking that the rolling circumferences are different. Have a look on any tyre size comparison site and you'll get all the info you need.
I assume Land Rover tested running the spare 19" on the same axle as a 20" with no ill effects to be happy to market the vehicle so equipped.

The tyres ARE different to varying degrees depending on your set-up.
