Well that all makes sense now.

I think it's fair to say that compared to other brands (particularly Audi's which is excellent) LR's effort on the ambient lighting front, both paid and unpaid, is pretty poor. SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

I have the paid-for ambient lighting and it is definitely the biggest disappointment for me in terms of what you get for the cash. Many other cars are far better including, as many have mentioned, other JLR cars. You're quite right that the only colour that changes is a tiny bit in the centre console that you can barely notice. If the dealer thinks there is something wrong then please let us know as I'll take mine in but I fully expect no change!

I just don't get why Land Rover want a premium on stuff that is supplied as part of expectations on less expensive vehicles. New Subaru advertise all the features that are extra on a RRS as standard, so there is no real cost in having these in the vehicle as the technology is not new. I am happy to pay a premium for quality but to pay extra for what is in cheap Korean cars is just trying to price gouge . M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

You should see what you get as standard on a fairly low spec Golf. Adaptive cruise for example, no charge.

Many of the things JLR charge for as extras should come as standard on vehicles of these core costs IMHO. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Would appreciate a picture of the Satin dark grey alloys. My dealer misordered and my car was originally supplied with the bright silver alloys. Alloys swapped on Friday but it looks like the dealer has used the wheel nuts that came with the silver alloys.

Black wheels nut are also a extra,,I'm surprised we get a radio as standard in the RRS.if you are going to buy them get them from eBay.

Yup, silver wheel nuts is how they come, just got some pics through of my HSE Dynamic that arrived at the dealer's a couple of days ago.

Disgraceful they they don't even come with centre caps.  SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

They are also optional extras.i shouldn't really put that because it might give LR a idea
