He's plugged it in to the driver's side socket to stop the annoying "bong" you get when driving without a belt on. Usually people who drive without a belt plug the driver's belt in and then sit on it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Talking of bongs (and Off Topic I know) but is there any way to turn off the bong for leaving the key in the ignition whilst the drivers door is open? Robin

As far as I'm aware there isnt a way to turn any of the 'bongs' off.

The only way round the seat belt one is to move the pressure sensors so that they don't close the circuit when you're sat down.

You can turn seat belt chime off, something along lines of switch ignition on and then place seatbelt buckle in a and out of faster 9 times within 1 minute, worked for me. Nanocom Evo
