Feedback on my RR

I purchased a 2005 RR sport SC about 3 months ago.

I was a bit net nervous at first as you do hear some horror stories about them going wrong and people having to spend a small fortune on them. Well I have to say it was the best decision I've made!

The car is great. It's been faultless so far with no problems whatsoever. It drives smoothly and all works as it should. If you're thinking about it, do your research and go for it!. Thumbs Up

Research is good but tbh it's luck of the draw at times. I've spent the neck end of 7k on mine an the three years I've owned it. Big Cry

He has only had his for 3 months Wink The big issue with the old model is they're now in the hands of people who can afford to buy them, but cannot afford to maintain them correctly. Right now the market is being flooded with cheap RRS from 2005-2007 with no service history and "owner serviced"

Who wants to buy a RRS sport that was serviced on a council house oil stained drive?

Had mine for a year no problems other than intercooler hose, then since last October it's had about 14k spent inc an engine, fortunately warranty has covered about half of it but by far the most expensive car I've ever run Nanocom Evo

Maybe the case with some but obviously not all. There are still a load of great cars out there to be had. It just goes with what I said that research is vital.

You've owned your older model range rover sport for 3 months, come back in 12 months!! Yes you probably only paid 6k-7k for it so its more of a run A bout, but lets wait and see how things work out for you..

Nothing wrong with owner serviced if it is done correctly and the correct parts used unless you can tell me.I do my own and have the use of a ramp and my week old 2005 has full history with it but will be owner serviced from now on Thumbs Up

What a stupid thing to say! Have you bought a lemon in the past and been stung by big bills and are now bitter and twisted? Why try and turn a bit of good news into something else. I've spent good money on a car which is performing well. It isn't an ex council estate car and it isn't a run a bout!

I thought I'd say how happy I was with my car and not all are as bad as some of the bad reports. Wish I'd not bothered.
