Always liked the 20s mate but lack of sidewall put a stop to that! Its either that or a nice set of 18" Compomotives!! 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Have you tried AJS Tyres as he is just off the 25 somewhere south & he is a main 4x4 tyre specialist down that area,,I'm sure he's a member on here.

255/55 x 20 has rolling diam. of around 247cm. I'm running 275/45 x 21 tyres on a RRS1 which have rolling diam. of around 245cm. and have been for about 2years and have had no issues with clearance etc. does make speedo read a little slow but I believe Patrick at GAP is working on the IID tool to allow tyre/wheel size to be re-programmed.

Glad to be of some help, absolutely loving it down here don't think there will be any chance of coming back to the UK except for a holiday. Have to be a bit restrained though as max speed limit is only 100kph so the S/C's a bit OTT but with the standard of driving here it's probably just as well.

I love NZ and would live there if SWMBO would. Done a couple of month-long trips and it's just a great place.
