Front brake pads

Ok, my cars just had its MOT, only advisories were both from tyres close to legal limit, and front brake pads very near then minimum thickness.

Now looking through my paper work these were replaced back in April 2014 and have covered 28000 miles.

Part number on my paper work is LSFP500070. £126.45. Now I'm doing some searching and they're coming up as brembo pads!
As far as I was aware I didn't have brembos as it's only the 2.7 tdv6. May be wrong but I thought brembos were only on the sc's or tdv8's.

How can I check which ones I actually have?

Don't believe so, had them fitted at an Indy along with new discs, I supplied the parts as it was cheaper than they could get genuine for . Nanocom Evo

I can't speak for the brembo pads, although I think mine has them and it stops very well, but I do fit pagid in my e30 m3 and they seem pretty good to . I notice Euro are about same price for both

The brembos were £53 but they had an 18% discount, then thanks to an email with a code SERVICE25 I got another 25% off of car parts, so couldn't really turn my nose up at them for that.

It reminds me when I owned an Audi s4, the maf sensor died, from Audi it was £380, I contacted a maf specialist online and after I gave him my details he told me it was Bosch oem, which he could supply for £90 and if I returned ide get another £10 off so it cost me £80. When I put them side by side the only difference was the vw/Audi part number printed along side all the other numbers. So it does pay to do a little research.
