Or could I get the "grain" effect [ top grain ] I think they call it ? put onto the leather?

Probably beena lot cheaper to have had my original lid re-upholstered in the correct leather

Can you not bring out MDP Jr with the knitting needle as previously discussed? It'd all match up with your seat panels then... and you'd get the glorious STITCHING!!!

I could buy it off you MDP and fit it to my pikey mobile and then I would have the only one with a leather top!
Being a POOR pikey I only have cloth interior so it would not have to match any other leather
