Now that's a good looking car and I need to pull back on ordering RRS number 2 until I read test drives etc.. But ... have a look at the price list!!! An R-Dynamic HSE 380 with essentials like metallic, 22s, pano and a few nice to haves like park heater is going to easily take you to 80k and beyond. Wowza. Somebody stole a leaf out of the Macan Turbo pricelist. Then again, if the Germans can charge it, why souldn't we. And there is tech on the Velar that we don't have on the RRS - e.g. LED Matrix headlights (which I sampled on an X5M recently and are absolutely fantastic). And the choice of alloys is better on the Velar |

Way too expensive,,looks like I'm keeping my RRS for another year then probably change brands,,these are getting too silly with the prices now,,,,but as long as folk keep buying them they'll keep putting prices up.I suppose they are aiming at business buyers (that never own cars & lease them)rather than private buyers.

It's the little touches like the auto door handles, they look stunning, BUT what happens when this suffers with some sort of battery drain, just like every other model before it? |

Looking at the specifications it looks like LR has been reading all the early posts on BabyRR back in 2011......... then people were asking Why no V6 engines? Why no adaptive Cruise? Why no airsuspension options? Looks like their prayers have been answered 6 years too late and in a much more expensive car!

When the new Sport came out, I thought (and probably said here too) that I'd never buy one, mainly due to the price hike and lack of standard equipment compared to the previous model. I have one now and despite NOT into buying brand new cars, this one was new because there was no point in buying a year old car with 10k miles but still paying new car price just to avoid a 6 month wait

I've just specced one up, and, to get as close as possible to my new RRS spec., it's still a lot cheaper. (£78,000 versus £96,000). There are some options you can't have, but there again the Velar has things the RRS doesn't. Take off £6,500 for my V8 engine, and it's still £10k+ cheaper. |

I think it looks great, sceptical on the price but didn't expect any bargain to be honest! Any murmurings of an SVR in the pipeline peeps? After all they recently announced their intention to release any potential SVO vehicle much nearer to the launch of the 'regular' model, 6 months I think was the quote? |
