Quick Q on wheels for 2013 RRS?

Hello - did a search but couldn't find a definitive answer and found some conflicting info on a wheel / tyre site.

I previously owned a 2007/8 RRS TDV8 and had a set of 20" alloys with winter tyres which I kept after I sold the car.

I now have two FFRRs but am thinking of trading one of these for another RRS - this time a 2013 SDV6 model. Will the 20" alloys with winter tyres from my earlier RRS fit the new car please - I read that there was an ET difference of 47 vs 53 but don't know if this is the case and, if it is, what practical difference this may or may not make?

Thanks!

Aled

Hi Swissman,

Not sure on the offsets for each year, however RRS2 was released late 2013 so some sites might be referring to wheels on that model. I would have thought the RRS1 shared the same offset.

If nobody else can advise, the following sites may give you some guidance - basically the smaller offset will sit further out from the hub (if that makes sense)

Thanks both, much appreciated.

Col,

Are those differences in ET 'do-able' or dangerous / not possible between the two different sets?

Cheers

Hi,

I have run both 20" and 21" RRS2 rim's on a RRS1 for nearly 3years and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. As far as running RRS1 rims on a RRS2 I really couldn't say, although the offset difference is only 4mm I really don't know how close the rim would be to the caliper especially if you have brembo's.

Cheers
Col
