Minimum disc thickness

Anyone know the original and minimum disc thickness (f and r) on a MY16 3.0 TD6 HSE dynamic ((Brembo calipers)?

Thanks in advance. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

So.........

Front discs - min thickness - 31mm

Rear discs - 21mm.

My fronts measured up at 34, ( they must have been more than that when new) so lots of life yet. The rears you cannot measure without dropping the caliper off, which I didn't bother with, as the "lip" was tiny anyway.

Pads front and rear getting low, probably will need changing within 5k miles. I will try some EBC "ceramics" to see if they cut down the dust.

Anyone tried Red or Yellow stuff pads on their cars? They do both, not sure which ones to go for.

Gawd, those Brembo front calipers are huge! MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Had EBC Red Stuff pads on a couple of cars (but not RRS) and found them to be a big improvement but you can sometimes get a squeal at low speeds... certainly stop you quicker! D3 LHD - great car !

22k miles of "normal" road use, I am not too hard on brakes. Lots of those miles on M-way journeys. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

That would be really useful, I think I am a month away from fitting some max.

Reading the descriptions on the EBC site, I suspect redstuff will be what I need in preference to yellow. After all, this is a 4X4, not a Seat Cupra R. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

To combat that evil brake dust, I use Autoglym Wheel Protectant. It has worked well on our cars, and reduces brake dust buildup almost magically. Wink

I have no affiliation with Autoglym... 2017 MY17 SDV6 SE

Anyone know the EPB re-set procedure? (for after you have changed pads)? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
