United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black
Screeching Noise

Before I took delivery of my 2011 3.0 RRS I had new brakes and disks fitted all around and a wheel bearing replaced but I do not know what side, it may have been drivers.

I tend to have my music quite loud so don't know how long this may have been happening but I noticed a screeching noise from probably the drivers side again which I think may be a wheel bearing again. took it into Guy Salmon and went for a test drive but was unable to get the noise to happen but he did say the car sounded a bit noisy over bumps so they have booked it in for a check and to look at the possible bearing issue.

I spoke to a local independent and he said he had 2 other RRS in last week alone with exactly the same issue and they were wheel bearings so now stuck between a brick and a hard place. Guy Salmon have said if its bearing then its covered under my warranty 'Their words' The bush issue for the noisy ride could be down to needing an upgrade part but not sure if covered. If they diagnose and the price is to high I have also been told I would be liable for a diagnostics charge between £72 - £140. Considering the indy has given me a £350 a side for bearing I am quite frankly Censored myself. God knows what the bush cost is but unless its all covered under warranty I think I will be going to the indy.

I also need a courtesy car the earliest they could get me in was 13th of March also pants so I am in on the 6th no car to get about in and hoping for some good news. first issues I have really had in 10 months of ownership but seriously hoping its not the start of something. mileage currently 48K
