Hi folks - first post in a while. Went to see a RRS last night - drove very well. The same as a my old one.

There was a suspension light on that came on during the test drive - made it unable to adjust but disappeared when it was stopped/restarted. It was a 2006 from Southern Ireland and the clock was in kms (179k). However, on the V5C it is listed as green? Did not look like a respray? Can anyone shed any light on this?

Looks like 'Arctic Frost' - same colour as the RRS I've recently purchased, a very pale metallic green, basically silver with a hint of green. That said, mine is marked on the V5 as 'Silver'

On my iPad it looks like Zermatt or Zambesi Silver! To be that pale it would be Arctic Frost as Giverny Green was a bit more green than that. Would be worth checking that the "Stormer" alloys are genuine LR ones (the Land Rover oval logo is cast into the inside of the rim) otherwise they will be fakes and may not be strong enough for the weight of the car.

It's clearly had paint work done. (and RRS of certain colours that age need it, due to lacque peal)

The bottom of the doors are colour coded and the handles, side grills. All not standard.

The VIN Plate on the slam panel would have the LR name from the paint printed on it.

My App says it was first registered 21/8/2013 which is more worrying. Has it been imported?

The reg starts with an "O" I take it ?

I would be more worried by the fact a warning light came on the dash during the test drive than the colour it's meant to be..

It's got no extras and has done 100k miles, that thing needs to have a massive service history with it or you could be looking at spending half the value of the car in repairs and missed work.

Ask them if you can take it for another test drive, give it a bit of stick, raise and lower the suspension a few times and then drop into a landrover dealer or indi and get them to pull the fault codes.

No codes at all.. someone has cleared them and probably trying to hide something.

It should have stored faults from the dash warning and I'm guessing but roughly 2 or 3 bcm communication faults.

The OFZ will be a private reg, hense being registered in 2013
