Blackvue 650gw 2ch Motion sensitivity

I'm hoping someone else has one of these installed.

When the car goes into parking mode it continually records. I have found its the motion setting that is the issue. Even set to 1 it keeps continually recording.

Anyone found a fix for this?

I have the same device, and it's been ok in parking mode. Haven't installed in the RRS yet, been using a Mini 0806 for over a year.
Have you got it rigged though a Power Magic Pro or straight off the battery? I had mine fired up through a PMP in my last car, and it was fine with that. If you have trees in view of the Blackvue, that could be an issue. Should be ok though with sensitivity at 1.
Have a look on the Dashcamtalk.com forum, maybe something on there... You can't see the eyes of the demon until him come callin'

I have PMP installed, just got a response back from blackvue:

The Motion detection sensor is quite sensitive so when you choose the sensitivity level to 1, it doesn't really make the sensor too much less sensitive and it will record constantly in parking mode.

Our R&D team has been alerted about persistent issue and they are looking into ways to sort of recalibrate the sensors hopefully in the upcoming firmware updates.

But for now you can just set the sensitivity level to zero which will completely turn the sensor off OR disable push notification of the Motion detection in parking mode in the BlackVue C app -> BlackVue Cloud-> Camera settings-> Camera basic Settings -> Push Notifications settings ; uncheck Motion Detection (Parking mode)-> OK.

SWMBO has one of these in her car that i installed, sensitivity is minimal, but was still always recording. Came down to the red flashing light of the car's immobiliser on the dash, every time it flashed it triggered the camera. Covering it with some black gaffa tape did the trick. 2019 RRS P400e Autobiography

I have line detection set on a CCTV camera, which is great when the postie comes but a real pain in the arse when it snows, rains heavy at night (infra red reflection) or the sun comes out and shadow crosses the line...

Technology eh?
