Had some grinding and crunching noises coming from my front end of my 2010 sport yesterday. I suspected a collapsed wheel bearing or transmission being the worst possible problem. Took the car to my local garage and he has said that the one bearing is completely gone and the other side is on it's way and best to change both together, which iw ould have done anyway. The car is two years outside manufactures warranty but the car has only done 63,000 miles. If i contact landrover and claim faulty parts due to the low mileage of failure, do i have a case. Being land rover and such low milage, i would have expected at least 100,000 miles for a major part to fail on such a vehicle.
