Bonnet lettering Repair

Hi guys, wondering if someone could advise the best product to replace the weather worn black vinyl on my Overfinch bonnet lettering? I don't particularly want to part with hugh amounts of dosh for genuine replacement letters. I was thinking about auto grade sticky back plastic or a similar product. Your thoughts please😳

 Best Regards
Tony

Ide get some tracing paper and some Matt black vinyl off eBay, (about £1 +pnp for a 4x12" piece) trace out the lettering onto the vinyl and use a craft knife to cut out and stick over. Just make sure the surface your sticking to is clean and grease free. So i would use a cotton bud with some IPA to clean each letter.

Genuine...hmm, not genuine LR parts, tested by the laboratory, rather overfinch's own factor bought badges.

Take them off and put proper RR badging on Very Happy Very Happy

Well finally got round to having a go with some auto grade sticky vinyl. As a first attempt it came out better then expected
