I have never looked closely enough for or noticed on SVR's that I have seen if, on their "Recaro" style front seats, there is a left arm arm rest for the driver. I had the same design of seats as an option in both my Evoques and there was no left arm arm rest in them but a bigger, sliding topped centre cubby box which was too low down for most drivers to use comfortably as an armrest and I really missed the laid back seating position you took up when you had the proper left arm arm rest for the driver of FFRR and RRS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

yup - no arm rest built into the seat. I don't find the top of the centre cubby-hole lid uncomfortable

Just been nosing under the boot carpet at the cavern left behind without the spare wheel.

Suddenly dawned on me. Although I have the pump and gum for a temp fix of a flat tyre I don't seem to have any of the following:

- jack
- any type of tool kit
- wheel chock
- emergency funnel (talks about this in the manual)
- warning triangle
- first aid kit.

My last 3 cars - all over 2 years old and all came with these. So my question is - which should / shouldn't I have and which are optional extras...

None of them! The gum doesn't need a wedge to apply it. You only get the funnel thing on diesels as it is the thing for resetting the misfuelling device and no one misfuels a petrol with diesel do they? Warning triangle and first aid kits have always been LR options not standard kit IIRC. The only Land Rover I have owned with any semblance of a tool lit has been my Defender, for the rest you are meant to call out Land Rover Assist........ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
