Air suspension repair kit issues

Hi all,

Any advice on this would be hugely appreciated. I have a 2.7tdv6 57 plate sport HSE

A few weeks ago the dreaded "suspension fault - normal height only" appeared.

So read all of the advice on here about the two options.
Upgrade to AMK or use repair kit filters and seals etc.

As I am tightfisted I tried the repair kit first

Just completed this and now suspension has dropped down.
I reset suspension settings by disconnecting battery and wait for a minute etc.

Now stuck.
Any help??

Is the compressor actually working? Have you checked connections etc for leaks?

I have just read your previous post about checking for noise by the passenger door etc. I can't hear anything so I will check all tomorrow morning.
Thanks very much for your help and advice. It is hugely appreciated.

My advice is bite the bullet and buy a new pump. My son bought a repair kit for the pump in his FFRR. it never worked properly and after many fault codes and issues, I finally persuaded him to get a new pump (around £300 I think).

Car has been faultless ever since Thumbs Up

Just took the unit off the Arthur's morning again and bench tested. It's making a big noise but no air being produced.

New pump time I think. £330 I have found them for. New

Just fitted new compressor.

Works, being quoted £790 from dealer so sourced and fitted myself for £330.

Happy.

Thanks for everyone's help
