Hi, I also had problems with the system in the 2007 tdv8 I had. I think the problem is that is just isn't very good.
I have seen that people tend to install third party systems i.e parrot.
I had one in my van and couldn't fault it Smile

Look up BODSY on here. You may need Bluetooth module updating.

I have the same car, mine has worked perfectly well with a Iphone 4, 5,6 and now a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, so it isnt the system 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

I got the updated module from somebody on this site, just sent them mine and about £70, though without finding the conversation, I can not confirm that it was Bodsy, though I think it was 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))
