WILF, we feel the same about the new Jags, can't see how the new XF can compete in anyway with the all new 5 Series. Shame Gone:

I agree that the difference between Dynamic and Non Dynamic RRS may not be much noticeable when quickly circling a roundabout but it is a revelation when driving on twisty roads and especially mountains with sharp turns. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone
Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory
Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond

To be honest, the Dynamic pack (either as HSE Dynamic or as an HSE with the on/off road pack specified) makes the RRS a proper Land Rover. It gives it the full capabilities. Standard HSE lacks the off road kit and is really just a bigger, nicer riding, Evoque.

Yes I did recognise that which is why I specified the Off Road pack with my standard HSE although I accept thats a sort of half way house

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Off Road pack does seems to make HSE a newer version of the old RRS in off road terms. Obviously the better ground clearance etc. of the new RRS makes it better still. Thumbs Up

I find it somewhat ironic that it's the expensive versions that get the full suite of off road ability. It would seem sensible to have made the HSE more "country" and made the Dynamic/AB versions more "town/fast road". I doubt many RRS ABs will be venturing off tarmac in any way. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I wouldn't have a RRsport without dynamic I think it makes it such a better drive in every way as mentioned above, however something not mentioned is that if you have a supercharged then the v8 is more audible inside the car which is most satisfying and worth every penny imo.
