I was told that if you order the car with parking assist as the mudflaps would cover the sensors which are located where the rear mudflaps go. if you dont have the parking aid then i assume it should be ok as the body panels look the same near the rear wheels. |

I have front and rear mud flaps on mine with the Deployable side steps so I would think they should be able to fit with fixed steps as well.

I was told that if you order the option for parking aid that there are additional sensors where the mudflaps go. I wanted that option but was told it would block these additional sensors. Do you have some additional sensors where the rear mudflaps are and if so any chance you can take a picture pls mate. I am really cheesed off because i am crap at parking and this option would of really helped out.

As far as I know, I don't have any extra sensors fitted, hopefully these pictures will help.

Thanks for the photos mate. The so called sales guys who should know about this kind of thing actually poited out to me that the sensor is right on the edge of the wheel arch but from your photos its pretty clear that its no where near. Just proves that if you want to know something about a car no point in believing the sales guy. |

So, it seems front mud flaps cannot be fit with fixed side steps? Has anyone achieved this and/or have any photos showing them? Cheers |

If it helps, I have front flaps fitted as well, but as before I do have the Deployable side steps and also have the parking aid system and works no problem???? |

Do they mudlaps actually help keep the car clean on days like we have now - my white car get's filthy especially the rear end is just horrible after a day of washing! If they do keep the car cleaner then would be tempted to have them fitted to my MY17.. |

All the RRS's I've had, I have always had mudflaps front and rear and in my opinion protect the underside, such as sills and rear wing bottoms but there is still the effect of dirt on the rear doors etc when the weather is

Thanks Lyonhead. One would have thought they mudlfaps would help throw up the road grime but it seems not |
