England 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black
Stereo upgrade

Hi
I'm interested in upgrading the head unit on a 2007 RR SPORT SUPERCHARGED. I want something that obviously plays the radio,CDs but also will have Bluetooth for my mobile phone not just to make calls but to play music from my iPhone. If that wasn't enough I want the in car phone controls to still work. What have people tried, any pics would be appreciated
Richard

Gibraltar 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Stornoway Grey

I own an 07 (08MY) SE and I originally had a single Land Rover CD/ Radio which I found to be very out dated. I searched around and found a suitable Din 4 surround on eBay some years ago and also bought a cable adapter to be able to use the switches on the steering wheel. I fitted a pioneer stereo and ran an iPod cable into the glove box. I have music available from either Bluetooth, CD, IPod, or SD card. The Pioneer also provides hands free telephone as well.
I can still use the volume controls on the steering wheel and if using the CD, iPod or SD card I can forward to the next song as well. The head unit also plays music and displays the album cover. Never regretted changing the stereo.
However you will loose the clock on the dashboard, but the new stereo has one.
