i had the low battery message come up so i changed the battery to a bosch i also bought a ctek charger to keep it topped up as i only do short journeys, everything seemed fine until the winter then the alternator cooked its self, seemed like a new battery only masked the real problem, also now my FBH is locked out i think due to low voltage so i had my battery checked out and its not running at full strength only CCA at 601 instead of 830 so i had to buy another new battery. |

Seems quite a few threads re this issue with 2010/2011 vehicles. They talk of an update to the instrument pack, BMS that needs resetting when you put a new battery etc. I'm about to put a new alternator on but I'm not 100% convinced its this issue after reading a few threads. |

mine is a 2006 but I'm sure someone will confirm if its a common issue on the later years |
