Try the steering column knuckle joint, they seize on older vehicles, I had mine replaced last year, they cost about £100 plus labour.

check for leaks where the in and out pipes are bolted to steering rack, you can see them by turning the steering wheel fully clockwise and look from the drivers side wheel, it is common for one or both of the seals to go leading to a slow leak, they are very very easy to change and cost less than £4.00 from a main dealer.

My indie sourced one in an hour, delivered to his workshop, There must be one in Birmingham 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |
