I appreciate that the SDv6/TDv6 is a Ford/PSA developement of the Peugeot Lion engine re-engineered by LR to suit off-road use but Ford USA is to buy the TDv6 FFRR version of the engine which has a lower output than the RRS's SDv6 to install in the 2017 MY F150 pickup - that will be a lot of engines for LR to make as F150 is the USA's top selling pickup and at the moment is not available with a Diesel engine. LR must be very pleased to be selling engines to Ford after years of being tied to buying Ford engines for the Freelander2, Evoque and Defender2 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I always thought the TDV6 and TDV8 were made by Ford for LR... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
