That's an unbelievable price, compared to my Ctek which cost 4-5 times more. What's the catch? |

Thanks for the heads up...bought it this morning. There were 15 or so in stock so if there is anyone left wanting shoot me a pm. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

As a result of these posts I bought one. Had no need of it straight away so it stayed in its box till December. When I did get it out to use it no dice. Checked the fuse which was blown and so I've changed it. Still no dice.

Catch is they don't have the smart conditioning feature of a ctek and they won't charge completely flat batteries. Useful thing to have and good value thou |

I got mine and, as a test, am trying it on a battery that has been sitting in my garage on a kit car I'm working on. Kit hasn't been used for at least 3 years and battery was flat as a pancake. Well it's been on charge for 3 days now and has gradually brought the battery up from 9 volts to ( so far) 13.1. Charger is not too hot or anything so I am pleasantly surprised with the quality if the Lidl charger. Whether the battery keeps its charge is another matter. It's probably knackered but it's a good test of the charger. Robin

CTEK's don't charge completely flat batteries either. What smart conditioning bit are you thinking about ? The catch is that they aren't very reliable out of the box. I hope as you have a working one it will last for you. |

I have had car batteries that my Lidl charger will not charge because they are too low, my ctek has charged them and then they have worked ok (I know that they should be fully dead after being that flat, but they still seem to work ok.
