Mine was a 2007MY owned for 3 years from new and Part-exchanging it for the same engine in a FFRR was a huge mistake as the same engine in the 2010MY FFRR was no where near as good as the RRS's one and the after the Brembos of the RRS the piddly little non Brembo brakes on the FFRR were dangerous ................ Maybe I had one of the better TDv8 RRS's, I had to drive in town (which I rarely do) to get the sort of figures you guys are talking about in the RRS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'm amazed by that. Best I get is about 26mpg on a run if I'm gentle. Have seen 32mpg once but that was on the long downhill drive out of Andorra. Gravity did most of the work! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I'm with RRSTDV8. Now done 13600 miles since purchase in March 2016 and overall average is 25.44mpg includes two trips SE to Aberdeenshire (1300 and 1800 miles) and some 80 miles round trips (say once or twice a week average) and the rest more local trips of a few miles. I'm mostly a pretty relaxed driver but with the occasional blast (or why would I have bought a V8?). Robin
