I cant understand why a small bent piece of metal is so expensive.

I found genuine LR twin towbar electrics and detachable tow hook on Gumtree. They were brand new and unused. Guy had bought them for his 2007 RRS two years before and never ever fitted them. He had them up for £120

Needless to say I took his whole arm off. Prior to this, I had inquired at an Indespension shop near me about the price of a genuine tow hitch. He gave me a price of £600

They can be hard to track down and good used ones seem to range from £100 to £180
