Rear window heater dead

Hi,
I think that removing the black tinting films broke the heating system on the rear window ( I saw some material come off).
Is there anyway to change that?
Thanks for your help!

Maplins in the UK sell electric conductive paint.

I used it to fix a broken rear window heating element on my old Jag Thumbs Up

Ok, thanks a lot, is there an OEM part with the full filament to be bought otherwise?

If a few lines work in useful places live with it .

Otherwise a new window or used tailgate.

Ah, ok, the complete window Sad
understood, not a lot work anymore (and I can maybe live with it) given the nice temperatures in my area

I had the same problem on my car and put through a glass claim with my insurer, just had to pay a small excess the glass cost around £600.00 new. The insurers accepted the claim because it was safety issue without the heating elements working...
