Hi, I am looking for somewhere to get my RRS serviced in Leicestershire where I live or Suffolk where I work.

Any recommendations on an independent?

I can recommend Swinfield Cooper in Leicester. They have serviced my two Lightweights, Discovery and RRSport over the years.
Recently did the timing belts on the Sport. Very knowledgeable and reasonable pricing too.
The service bay was full of Range Rovers last time I went. 1979 Lightweight - NATO green

Thanks for that Timo. I had to use the stealers this time as the service was due. But they had the headlights out for some reason and din't put them back probable making the headlight beams all over the place so I had to re-seat them. You pay somebody and have to finish it off yourself.

If it's the main one in Leicester, I'm not really surprised. Went to a Discovery launch there last night. Wandered around looking at the vehicles. No one ever approached us or offered information. Same when I bought mine. Asked to see a Sport and perhaps have a test drive. Was allowed to sit in one and that was it. As a fifty something surgeon, I'd have thought I was the ideal demographic for a potential customer. 1979 Lightweight - NATO green

No, mine was in Nottingham. For exactly the same service the one in Leicester wanted £50 more.
