[Wanted] 22' Alloys Wanted

Hi! Just wondering if anyone can help me out, im looking for 1 x the alloys on my car. No to sure on the exact make as there seem to be a few on the market, Dare NK1's maybe? Car was done up by autoprestige if that gives anyone a better idea of what am looking for. Newbie to RR and the forum, so any help is much appreciated. Potholes dont like the new tyres as the alloys cracked Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Sorry but I think you got that wrong, LR have OEM22" wheels and 23" on some cars and they are designed for off road use, they don't crack at the first sight of a pot hole. Would suggest that those wheels are dangerous fitted to your car as they are not up to the weight of the vehicle. L320 (RRS1) was never meant to have wheels bigger than 20's but L494 (post 2013 Mk2) 22's will fit and won't crack. I think for your own safety you should ditch those wheels and put on something more suitable strength wise. And unless you can prove the wheels are genuine / certified to take the weight then be very careful buying wheels off eBay. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Alloys where for looks, not for offroading so they will stay Cool

I know they aint the best made alloys, but im sure the pot holes where i stay wont be helping matters.

A Range Rover that can't handle potholes is like a author that can't write.
I'm with Tim, ditch the wheels or buy sports car.

Different strokes I suppose, I like to take my off road every now and again, so 22s aren't an option for me to be honest. It must of been a big pot hole or poor wheels though, so it still might be best to replace if possible, what profile tyres are you running? Slightly higher may stop it becoming a regular occurance if you can get the tyres.
Welcome to the forum too!

285/35 Toyo Proxes. Yeah they are aftermarket alloys, as far as im aware anyway, so the chances are its a poor finish of alloy. First RR, so still learning whats best for them Laughing

I have a few customers running 285/35r22's on aftermarket alloys & when I put them on the balancer 2 out of the 4 are nearly always buckled.
I fitted a set of Hawke alloys on my 2012 RRS with 285/35r22's & never had problems with them buckling,,I now have them on my14 RRS with continental 295/40r22's & they are a lot more comfortable than the 35 profile.
I'm taking delivery of a new VW Amarok tomorrow & I'm in 2 minds wether to put the RRS back on the 21's & put the 22's on the truck or buy another set of 22's & fit some Nexen tyres to them as I don't want to have £250 a corner contis on the truck just to go back & forth to work with.
