Impulse bought a 2007 RRS TDV8 HSE last weekend (Java Black, Black Leather) as I've been damaging my 435d by filling it full of stock.

It's got a tow bar which is coming off, Ive bought these; http://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/range-r...odels.html as it looks awful without visible exhausts and http://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/range-r...clear.html as I hate the orange indicators.

So I have £1,000 to make it look a bit more modern, where would you spend the money? 2015 BMW 435i MSport

LED interior lights, sump guard and AT tyres (still trying to find a sump guard ) it just depends what you like

I wasn't expecting the fuel consumption. 16mpg on short journeys.

Luckily I didn't buy it as a daily driver.

Hope your enjoying your new toy as riverblanche says some led inside lights about £10 for a set or T10's on ebay. Swap the number plate lights out that's an easy one also. Its worth spending a little more money and get 2 decent side light bulbs, the originals halogens look horrid and yellow next to the main beams.

Post a pic up of your joy! Its personal taste but the grill and side vents are an easy 15 minute swap out, loads of styles to choose from. Colour coded Door handle covers and wing mirror covers, again cheap and 20 minute job.

Looks are all personal taste , some like stock original and are horrified by stick on gimmicks. Have a look around at the member posts of their rides get some inspiration of what you like and don't.


Depending on your paint condition it may be worth looking at a good body and wheel detail. Get your self some good wash, and a decent wax etc. Gleaming paint will go a long way!

All suggested stuff ordered including side light bulbs.

I don't know why but it looks like my old one,,the first RRS I had.im racking my brain now trying to remember the number plate as the dealer put my private plate on it but I had old plates in back that went back to dealers when I traded or in.I can remember it started with YX07 & I fitted the chrome mirror covers.

Colour code the side vents and the outer edger of the Grill. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
