Sat nav not working

Hi, picked up our first ever Range Rover today, she's beautiful. But unfortunately the sat nav doesn't work. Presumably I need a disk? Where would I source one of those reasonably well priced please?

I've attached a couple of pics of the beasty, I think. Lol

Steph

Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black

It depends on the year of your vehicle, from 2010 they were switched to a hard Disc, uploaded by USB.
Earlier models do require a DVD map disc inside the player, often located under the front passenger seat.
These are officially available through LR, quite expensive at £169.00, but you do see them advertised on eBay at times, but ones I've seen are copies and not genuine licensed material. Whistle
If there isn't the disc you won't of course get the Sat Nav working, is everything else working on the Audio Visual side?

If there is no disc in the drive, I would ask the dealer or seller for it.

It may have been misplaced or at worse removed to hide a fault with the Nav.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Interesting that the previous owner went to the trouble of facelifting the car front and rear only to leave the original tail light clusters..

The DVD for the satnav is located under your passenger seat, I find it's easiest to access by sliding the seat as far forward as possible. There's a locking switch that needs moving before you can eject the disk, it's pretty straight forward though.

Are you getting any error messages ?
