Sounds like another of JLR's thoroughly researched and benched tested "Upgrades" to me................ they are getting so good at letting the owners do the bench testing of software upgrades, makes you wonder why they bother to employ software engineers as it seems they cannot do their job properly 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Not sure if its relevant but I noticed whilst parked opposite a shop window a while ago that my DRL's were not working. They came on when I engaged drive and pulled away. It might not be the same scenario you are talking about but it might help. 2016 Range Rover Sport SDV8 HSE Dynamic (Indus Silver/Santorini Black Pano Roof, Ebony/Cirrus leather, custom grey Style 508 alloys) |

DRL's do no engage until a gear is engaged, also, if you leave your headlights on the DRL's will stay lit without the headlights being lit....well, thats the case with mine anyway. 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Weird, mine come on with the ignition, and stay on all the time. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Mine did just as Wilf mentioned. Will now try to see if they come on with a gear engaged and report back |

OK so as mentioned earlier my DRLs used to turn on with the ignition and stay on. They now however work as per Reneco's post above. |
