Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black

If you don't want to pay for a LR service, or for them to reset every time at £80.00, then purchase a IID Tool it is so much more than a reader, the BT model (Bluetooth) is the one I'd recommend. You can read all fault codes and clear them, turn on/off facilities like timed FBH etc, alter the suspension height, and check/alter/correct a multitude of things. Although expensive, it soon pays for itself, if you are keeping your car for a few years. It is locked to your VIN number but if you have more than one RRS you can pay £85 to have it added, the first two models get free updates etc as released.
Available from Rimmers, or do a Google search, price around £399 + vat for the BT model, base model around £289 inc vat. You can get the BT model for the cheapest I've seen recently at £345.00 +VAT.
Hope that helps, it certainly pays for itself, you can get a full list of what it can do from the makers Website Gap Diagnostic link here: https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/shop/iidtool-bt/ John

Just realised this thread is old from 2014, but information in above post may be useful for new owners, or missed like me. Embarassed John

I have RRS 2007 that has the -20 service indicator on the dash. Can I get rid of this by manual steps or does it have to go down the plug into diagnostic tool route? Thumbs Up RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey

I don't think this procedure works for any RRS (maybe ok for freelanders)

Thanks Andy, yes correct as I got someone to plug their 'Delphi DS150E 2014 Release 2 (2.14.2.2)' diagnostic machine/software and this managed to rid of the '-20 service message', although which is great BUT this did not reset the red airbag light.

So back to checking all the other codes to try and find out the root cause of the airbag light being constantly on. Thumbs Up RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey

Hi Johnski,

I see you have said it will allow you to adjust the suspension height...........is this individual corners/sides it allows you to adjust? I have one side that is a few mm lower than the other I think it just needs adjusting? All works fine and is a new pump recently as well.
