I can't see why you would need a full sized RR unless you need to carry lots of stuff in the back.

I think an early one is a good choice.

With insurance its best to get a quote yourself. You may even find they won't cover you, so worth getting an idea now.

Hi Russben
Thanks for the info, very useful cheers
Andy K
I admit to being confused in regards to your comments, "full sized RR"? Does this reference wheel base or something? if the RRS HSE is a "full sized RR" then it's not about need, it's about want! There will be occasions when I need a big carrying space although not often admittedly. In regards to insurance, why could It be a problem to get cover? are you thinking about the parking on the street away from my home?

Regards
Steve

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The problem with insurance is that RRS is a very very desirable car and is among the most stolen............ some insurers refuse to cover them, some charge exorbitant premiums and many insist on their approved tracker system being fitted. If you choose Direct Line be warned that only one brand of tracker is approved by them............ of course it is the one from the company that they own! Living anywhere near London will immediately hike your premium but even rural areas of Scotland where I live have recently had premium hiked to pay for all the cars stolen in the SE of England.... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Full Sized or Full Fat RR forum here where you will find pics etc.

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/

They are bigger in every way.

And if you are considering 2005 cars, they look a bit more dated inside than the RRS

There is also a discovery 3, which shares many parts with the RRS, but the interior isn't as nice, but if you WANT/NEED a longer car maybe worth a look.
